The REACH, RoHS, CE certification requirements apply to products sold in or shipped to European countries that are members of the European Union. The EU certification requirements are not applicable to other countries around the world.
Although EU certifications are not required in other countries some products use the same materials, components and comply with REACH, RoHS, CE requirements.
REACH testing requirements cover specific Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) regarding regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
Specific International Configurations, Inc. power cords, cord sets, plugs, outlets and connectors have been tested to the applicable Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and are in compliance.

The European Union Directive 2011/65/EU for the Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS2) restricts the use of Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Lead, Mercury, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) on Electrical and Electronic products shipped to member states of the EU.

The CE mark indicates products sold or shipped to European countries comply with directives issued by the Council of the European Union (EU) concerning safety, consumer protection or other requirements.
The CE mark is not an agency approval or quality mark. The manufacturer of the product affixes the CE mark to the product indicating the product complies with the EU directives.
